Asked Questions: |
| What should I wear? |
| Summer days are generally cooler in the hills
with temperatures in the 70's and 80's, while nights can get as low
as the 30's, so it's wise to bring sweatshirts and jeans as well as
your summer clothes. You should also bring comfortable shoes for
walking and hiking. |
| Is the Barnhouse air conditioned? |
| Air conditioning is available upon request.
However, at approximately 5,000 feet above sea level, heat and
humidity are usually held in check. With the windows open you will
breathe fresh mountain air and wake to the scent of pine. |
| Does the Barnhouse have heat? |
| The Barnhouse is heated with a cozy Vermont gas
stove. |
| Do you provide breakfast? |
| You may as well sleep in. Although some B & B
guides do carry us because of our unique accommodations, we leave
the cooking up to you. The kitchenette is equipped. If you'd prefer
to dine out, we'd be happy to share a list of our favorite nearby
restaurants with you. |
